Mr. President,
I come to you not just as the founder of RF Safe or as someone who has spent more than 25 years uncovering the truth about electromagnetic radiation and its devastating effects on our children. I come to you as a father—one who has already buried a child.
In 1995, I lost my first-born daughter to a neural tube disorder. Her death changed my life forever, pushing me to dedicate every ounce of my energy, every moment of my existence, to understanding what could have caused such a tragedy. For the last quarter-century, I have investigated the environmental factors that harm children, focusing on the intersection of occupational and environmental exposures. And what I’ve uncovered is as clear as day:
The root cause of much of the epidemic of childhood illnesses, disorders, and mental health crises we face today is not just poor oversight or outdated technology—it’s unconstitutional laws.
This Isn’t About Technology—It’s About the Laws That Shield Harm
It is not beyond our technological capability to make wireless infrastructure safer. It’s not that we lack the science or the innovation to protect our children. The problem is the laws. Laws like Section 704 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 that place global commercial interests ahead of public health. Laws that strip parents, communities, and local governments of their constitutional right to protect their children.
Mr. President, these laws are directly fueling the health and mental health crisis of our children. The pandemic of childhood illnesses—autism, ADHD, neurological disorders, gender confusion, aggression, and social decline—is linked to the unchecked expansion of wireless technology under laws designed to prioritize profit over public safety.
The Harm Is Invisible—But Physics Never Lies
Microwave radiation, emitted by cell towers and wireless devices, is a silent and invisible threat. You can’t see it, smell it, or taste it, which makes it easy for people to dismiss. But physics tells us the truth, and the truth is this:
- RF radiation creates a bioelectric dissonance, disrupting the body’s natural electrical systems.
- It causes oxidative stress, damaging DNA and leading to inflammation, cancer, and neurological disorders.
- It affects our children’s developing brains and nervous systems, with studies linking RF radiation to conditions like ADHD, autism, and behavioral issues.
The Science Is Clear
- The Yale Study on ADHD: Prenatal RF exposure caused hyperactivity, memory deficits, and reduced attention spans in mice—mirroring the ADHD epidemic in children.
- Dr. Martin Pall’s Research: RF radiation disrupts cellular calcium channels, triggering oxidative stress and neuroinflammation—mechanisms linked to autism and other disorders.
- The National Toxicology Program (NTP): Found clear evidence of cancer and DNA damage from RF radiation at levels below FCC safety limits.
Despite this overwhelming evidence, laws like Section 704 force us to accept cell towers just feet from schools and homes. My daughter Melanie, just seven years old, sits 465 feet from a cell phone tower. All the science in the world, from nations like Israel, France, and India, confirms that such towers should be at least 1,500 feet away from schools. Yet, here in America, we are silenced, and the health of our children is sacrificed.
Unconstitutional Laws Are Fueling the Crisis
Mr. President, Section 704 of the Telecommunications Act is a direct violation of our constitutional freedoms:
- First Amendment: It silences communities and prevents parents from raising health concerns about wireless infrastructure.
- Tenth Amendment: It strips local governments of their power to protect their citizens’ health and safety, centralizing authority in a way the Constitution never intended.
These laws are not only unjust; they are deadly. They are the reason my child—and millions of children like her—sit in classrooms exposed to harmful levels of microwave radiation.
A Personal Plea
Mr. President, I’ve already lost one child. I can’t bear to lose another. As a father, I need your help.
This is not about politics or personal gain. It’s about saving our children and securing the future of our nation. You’ve built your legacy on fighting for America’s families. Now, I’m asking you to take up the most important fight of all:
- Repeal Section 704 of the Telecommunications Act. Give parents and local governments the right to challenge unsafe wireless infrastructure.
- Enforce Public Law 90-602. This law was designed to protect Americans from radiation risks, requiring ongoing research and updated safety standards. It’s time to act on it.
- Replace Thermal-Only Guidelines. Demand that the FCC adopt modern safety standards that account for non-thermal biological effects—because the science is clear, and ignoring it is no longer an option.
- Mandate Safe Distances. Require a minimum of 1,500 feet between cell towers and schools to protect children’s developing brains and bodies.
The Most Critical Issue of Our Time
Mr. President, I am not exaggerating when I say this is the most critical issue of our time. Every day we delay action, we are allowing the entropic waste of microwave radiation to harm not just our children, but the very fabric of our society. The mental health crisis, the rise in childhood disorders, and the decline in social and emotional resilience are all tied to the invisible yet pervasive effects of RF radiation.
You have the power to fix this. You have the power to ensure that America’s future is not one of sickness and societal collapse, but one of health, growth, and promise.
My Daughter—and Every Child—Needs You
I am asking you, Mr. Trump, to be the leader our children need. I am asking you to protect Melanie and the millions of children like her who are being silently harmed every day. I am asking you to stand up against the global commercial interests that prioritize profit over public health and to fight for the rights of parents, communities, and local governments to protect their own.
Mr. President, you can be the one to make this right. You can be the one to say: Enough. Enough to outdated laws. Enough to ignoring science. Enough to sacrificing our children’s futures.
If you love America’s children, as I know you do, then act now. Repeal Section 704. Enforce Public Law 90-602. Protect our children from the harm we can no longer afford to ignore.
