RF Safe swiftly moves graphene from research lab to consumer marketplace with health conscious smartphone case

For those of you new to the hottest trend in most scientific journals, is a material derived from standard graphite, like the kind found in everyday pencils. But when graphite is shaved to extreme thinness; it is the thinnest material known, and behaves in truly astonishing ways.

Graphene is, basically, a single atomic layer of graphite; an abundant mineral which is an allotrope of carbon that is made up of very tightly bonded carbon atoms organized into a hexagonal lattice. What makes graphene so special is its sp2 hybridization and very thin atomic thickness (of 0.345Nm). These properties are what enable graphene to break so many records in terms of strength, electricity and heat conduction (as well as many others).

Experiments with Graphene won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2010.  Graphene is the lightest, thinnest, most conductive and strongest material on earth.  It is approximately 300 times stronger than steel.  Graphene is the hardest material known to man – harder than a diamond, which like graphene, also originates from carbon.   It would take an elephant balanced on a pencil to puncture a graphene sheet the thickness of Saran Wrap.

Graphene is fantastically good at conducting electricity; its current density is 1,000,000 times greater than copper’s and its intrinsic mobility is 1000 times greater than that of silicon.  Electrons move through graphene with virtually no resistance.  This means that graphene can carry electricity more efficiently, precisely and faster than any other material known to man.

As a result of graphene’s unusual electronic properties, which result in its electrons moving extremely fast and behaving like relativistic “Dirac” particles with virtually no rest mass.

Graphene conducts heat better than any other known material in thermal conductivity.  Oddly, it actually shrinks when it is warmed and expands when it’s cooled. This fact makes graphene the only known example of what scientists call “an electrically conductive membrane”.

Graphene can be used as a transparent terahertz and microwave-shielding material and also help prevent external as well as internal electromagnetic interference in electronic equipment.

RF Safe’s graphene shielding exhibits increased electric conductivity as a result of a revolutionary graphene coating over polyester fiber  with 5% silver — designed specifically for limiting exposure to excessive levels of smartphone radiation at today’s 4 G wavelengths and future 5 G millimeter wave technologies — microwaves deemed hazardous to human health, according to the World Health Organization.

Due to the unusual properties of graphene, the media has been quick to hail graphene a “wonder material.”
But while many patents have been filed for all sorts of applications — from bendable computer screens and solar cells to long-life batteries — so far turning the ideas into materials and practical products has proven difficult.

A year in the making, RF Safe’s partnership with world-leading aerospace material firms has created vast improvements over conventional RF shielding — thus leading to one of the world’s first consumer products that utilize graphene’s amazing properties to help cellphone users live a healthier lifestyle.

Introducing The RF Safe G-Series (Graphene) Phone Case Shield

RF Safe introduces anti-radiation smartphone cases that keep you safe from excessive electromagnetic radiation emitted in a wide range of microwave frequencies. RF Safe’s G-Series graphene-based shielding products offer a safe way to avert risks that could arise from the frequent use of smartphones.  These smartphone covers protect you from harmful electromagnetic radiation using the latest graphene-enhanced nano silver shielding technology.  Designed to control excessive radiation from being absorbed into your body, these covers deflect radiation from the front of your cell phone while allowing RF signals to transmit from the back and sides of the phone.

RF SAFE’s anti-radiation smartphone cases reduce cell phone radiation exposure.   These are designed specifically to cut down the electromagnetic radiation you are exposed to from smartphones and protect you from the grave health risks lifelong exposure could present.

Why risk your health by using ordinary mobile covers and cases?

To avoid excessive microwave exposure to vital organs and/or fetal development when using your smartphone next to your body, a deflective barrier “Shielded Front Flip Cover ” should always be used between you and the handset itself.  Simply always keep the shielded “front” of the phone facing your body at all times.

Radiation shielding is never used on the sides or rear of the case to prevent affecting the smartphone’s software regulating RF power output.   The graphene shielding inside the front cover will not interfere with call quality or battery power.  When shielding phone radiation from only the front of the phone that is facing your head or body – you are blocking only radiation that the body would have absorbed and that shielded energy wasn’t available for a cell tower because it would have been absorbed into human tissues distributed as heat in the body.
