The Hidden Risks of 5G: Dr. Anthony Miller’s Urgent Warning on Radiofrequency Radiation

In a profound statement, Dr. Anthony B. Miller, an esteemed professor emeritus at the University of Toronto, raises serious concerns about the long-term health impacts of 5G technology and radiofrequency radiation (RFR).

Background: For decades, the public, policymakers, and health researchers have been apprehensive about radiation exposure. Since World War II, human exposure to radio-frequency radiation (RFR) has skyrocketed, primarily due to the proliferation of radar and wireless technologies.

IARC’s Classification and New Findings: In 2011, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified RFR as a possible human carcinogen (Group 2B). However, recent research, including large-scale rodent studies and observations of increased brain cancer rates, suggests that RFR might be more hazardous than previously thought.

Children, Fertility, and Cancer Risks: Dr. Miller emphasizes the heightened risk of RFR exposure in children, whose developing brains are more susceptible to radiation. He also highlights studies indicating that men who carry cell phones in their pockets might face reduced sperm quality and increased risks of cancer.

Reclassification of RFR and ALARA Principle: Based on accumulating evidence, Dr. Miller believes that RFR should be reclassified as a Group 1 carcinogen, implying that it’s carcinogenic to humans. He advocates for the application of the ‘As Low As Reasonably Achievable’ (ALARA) principle, previously used for ionizing radiation, to RFR.

Concerns About 5G Technology: The deployment of 5G technology, requiring numerous small cell towers and operating at higher powers, poses new challenges. Dr. Miller points out that the potential chronic health and environmental impacts of 5G have not been adequately researched.

Call for a Moratorium on 5G: Highlighting the lack of control individuals have over exposure from cell towers and 5G transmitters, and the absence of health warnings from manufacturers, Dr. Miller calls for a moratorium on the rollout of 5G technology.

Conclusion: Dr. Miller’s insights are a clarion call for urgent research and policy revisions regarding 5G technology. He suggests alternative measures like fiber-optic connections and stricter regulations to protect public health.
