Trump Supporters Claim Harris’ Inaction on FCC Guidelines Could Increase Cancer Risk Nationwide

RF Safe Calls Out Vice President Harris for Ending Critical NTP Cancer Research and Ignoring Court Orders on Safety Guidelines

RF Safe, a leading advocate for wireless radiation safety, has accused Vice President Kamala Harris of prioritizing corporate interests over public health. RF Safe supporters, including many aligned with Donald Trump, are raising serious concerns about Harris’ inaction on updating wireless radiation safety guidelines and ending the world’s most significant cancer research on RF radiation.

“Kamala Harris allowed the shutdown of the National Toxicology Program’s (NTP) RF radiation research—the largest and most critical cancer study ever done on animals, which provided clear evidence linking RF radiation to cancer,” said John Coates, Founder of RF Safe. “Instead of following a court mandate to update the outdated FCC guidelines established in 1996, the Harris administration ended funding for the study that confirmed the dangers of RF radiation exposure. This is an egregious failure that directly endangers public health.”

In 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that the FCC had failed to justify maintaining its antiquated RF radiation exposure guidelines, demanding a review of the safety standards. Instead of acting on this ruling, the Biden-Harris administration allowed the FCC to ignore the mandate and, even worse, redirected funding that supported critical NTP cancer research.

The NTP study was a decade-long, $30 million investigation into the health effects of RF radiation. It found “clear evidence” that exposure could lead to malignant tumors, including gliomas in the brain and schwannomas in the heart. The NTP’s findings were further confirmed by the Italian Ramazzini Institute, which found similar results in low-dose, far-field exposure levels akin to those from cell towers. Ending this research without any effort to update safety standards leaves millions of Americans, especially children, at increased risk.

“Kamala Harris’ actions are not just a political misstep—they’re a public health disaster,” said Coates. “The failure to update safety standards and the cancellation of the world’s most important cancer research program make it clear that the administration values industry profits more than the safety of our citizens.”

RF Safe believes that only by voting out those responsible for perpetuating outdated safety standards can America regain its position as a global leader in health and safety. The upcoming 2024 election is crucial—voters have the power to end regulatory capture, restore funding for independent research, and protect future generations from preventable health risks.
