Mr. Kennedy, You’re Not Just Distracted—You’re in Violation of Federal Law

By John Coates, Founder of RF Safe

Let’s get this straight: RFK Jr. is no longer a private citizen or a political outsider. As Secretary of Health and Human Services, he is now legally responsible for enforcing Public Law 90-602, the Radiation Control for Health and Safety Act of 1968.

This law isn’t optional. It’s not a suggestion. It is congressionally mandated. It requires ongoing evaluation and regulation of radiation-emitting devices—including wireless technologies that emit radiofrequency (RF) radiation.

But right now? There is no ongoing research.

The National Toxicology Program (NTP), which found clear evidence of cancer from RF radiation, was defunded by the Biden administration in 2024—and nothing has been reinstated. That means the United States of America is operating with zero ongoing federal oversight of one of the most pervasive environmental exposures affecting children today.

And RFK Jr.—the man who called wireless radiation dangerous—is now in direct violation of the very law he swore to uphold.

Instead of Following the Law, He’s Enforcing New Rules… on Our Children

Rather than reinstating NTP research or updating public safety guidelines based on emerging science, RFK Jr. has decided to focus on banning student cell phone use in classrooms.

Let me be absolutely clear: this is political theater.

The children diagnosed with rare cancers at Weston Elementary in Ripon, California weren’t scrolling social media all day. They didn’t even have phones. They had a cell tower on school property broadcasting radiation into their classrooms 24/7. After multiple cancer cases in one school, Sprint shut the tower down—not because it violated FCC limits, but because the public outcry was undeniable.

So tell me again how banning phones from kids’ hands addresses any of that.

He Knows the Risks—But He’s Not Taking Action

RFK Jr. is on record stating that RF radiation poses neurological risks to children. He’s said the science is there. So where is the follow-through? Where’s the funding? Where’s the research? Where’s the federal leadership to fulfill the clear requirement of Public Law 90-602?

Instead of doing his legally mandated job to ensure Americans aren’t being poisoned by the airwaves, RFK Jr. is trying to micromanage what kids are holding, while ignoring the massive radiation source right outside their classroom windows.

No More Excuses: This Is a Legal Obligation

If you know RF radiation is dangerous—and RFK Jr. clearly does—then you have a legal and moral obligation to fund independent research, evaluate safety guidelines, and act based on the findings. That is what Public Law 90-602 requires. It is not being enforced. And that means RFK Jr. is now complicit in the same system of corporate capture he once campaigned against.

You cannot campaign on truth and then, once in office, retreat into symbolism.

You cannot run against telecom corruption and then refuse to challenge the very tower placements poisoning our children.

You cannot cry foul over radiation risks and then let the research mandates go unnoticed under your watch.

Mr. Kennedy, You Are Now the Problem

It’s no longer about what RFK Jr. believes. It’s about what he is doing—or failing to do—with the power he now holds. And right now, he is failing the American people, failing our children, and failing to uphold federal law.

We don’t need new bans on what kids can hold in their hands.
We need real enforcement of the laws that protect what’s going into their bodies.

Mr. Kennedy, do your job. Enforce Public Law 90-602. Restart the NTP. Challenge Section 704. Or admit you’ve joined the system you swore to dismantle.
